Heather Burgiss worked at Volunteer TV for a few years as a reporter and backup anchor.
For the past 8 years she have been working as a freelance producer/reporter for UNC-TV, North Carolina PBS. During this time, she also taught broadcast journalism at Coastal Carolina Community College.
